Do you care about what you eat, want to know where it comes from, and want to discover new varieties of fruit and veg that taste amazing?
We started from earth because we'd lost touch with what we were eating. Living in London, buying the same things from the same supermarkets, with no idea where any of it came from or whether it was actually good for us.
We wanted to eat differently. To slow down, to eat seasonally, and to discover the kind of produce that genuinely will blow you away. The Black Krim. The Azoychka. The Mara des Bois. Varieties you've never heard of. Flavours you won't forget.
from earth is our attempt to fix that. For us, and for anyone who feels the same way.
What we do
One ingredient.
One grower.
One month.
Every month, we work directly with a single British grower to bring you one extraordinary ingredient at its seasonal peak. We work with them closely, understand the variety, and only open orders once we know the timing is right. When the window opens, you have a short time to order. Then we harvest, pack, and ship.
Why seasonal
Food tastes better
in season.
Produce picked at peak ripeness, grown in the right conditions, tastes incomparably better than what you find in a supermarket. Supermarket supply chains are built around shelf life, not flavour. We're built around the opposite.
Supporting farmers
The people who
grow it matter.
British farming is under enormous pressure. Small, independent growers who grow extraordinary things are often the least commercially visible. We think that's wrong. from earth exists to put those growers in front of people who care, and to give you a direct way to support them, including tipping them from every order.
